I had an account on Carbon, but tried to open a new account

Please be informed that we do not encourage duplicate accounts on our platform, and as such, you cannot open a new account.

To resolve, we need to proceed with an account recovery/merger. Please confirm if you have access to the phone number currently linked to your BVN. If so, we will proceed with the merger. If not, we advice that you proceed to your bank to update the phone number linked to your BVN to your current and active phone number. Then, provide your BVN, government-approved ID (NIN) and a recent utility bill (electricity, waste, water corporation, etc.) within the last three months reflecting your current house address for verification and further assistance.

To provide the documents, raise a support ticket in-app, and attach the required document(s).
