How do I get my OTP to complete the set-up of my Debit Card on the app?

  1. What is OTP?  One time password is a 4 to 6 digit code generated and sent by your bank (financial institution) to authorize transactions you initiate using your debit card.
  2. How do I use the OTP? Ensure you do not leave the card setup page to check your inbox. You can simply check the content of the SMS verification bar on your phone. Also, ensure that your card is activated for online transactions. You can activate your card for online transactions at your bank.
  3. How can I receive OTP? Contact your bank for an OTP not Carbon.

  2. Non-receipt of OTP : OTP is generated and sent by your bank to the account holder before authorizing any transaction, not Carbon. Please contact your bank for an OTP.

Do not share your OTP, PIN, and debit card details with any third party including Carbon staff.
