How can I change information about myself on my profile?

The following information about your personal data on the app can be changed by simply following the steps below;


Change of Residential Address

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap on “Profile”

  • Tap on “Residential details and tap on "change address”

  • Edit your address accordingly and tap on "Continue" to verify your address. You can click on upload utility bill or enter meter number for address verification


If you are unable to edit the address in-app, please provide your full residential address including your local government area and a recent utility bill(not older than 3 months) showing your address by raising a support ticket on the app or send an email to support@getcarbon.co for update.



Employment/Income Change

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap of “Profile”

  • Tap on “Employment details"

  • Edit your Employment / Income details accordingly and tap on "Save".
    If you are unable to edit your income/employment status inapp, please send your 3 months bank statement and your employment letter


Gender Change

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap of “Profile”

  • Tap on “Personal details"

  • Update your Gender accordingly and tap on "Save".


Marital Status Change

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap of “Profile”

  • Tap on “Personal details"

  • Update your Marital Status accordingly and tap on "Save".


Number of Children Change

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap of “Profile”

  • Tap on “Personal details"

  • Update your Number of Children accordingly and tap on "Save".


Next of Kin Change

  • Login to your Carbon app and select Account at the footer of your homepage.

  • Tap of “Profile”

  • Tap on “Next of kin"

  • Proceed to update your Next of Kin accordingly and tap on "Save".

NB: You can update these information inapp only once in 3 (three) months.  If you encounter any difficulties updating any of these details, you can raise a support ticket by sending a mail to support@getcarbon.co with the clear details of the information  to be updated for further assistance.
