How can I add a new debit card?
With No Approved Loan
Login to the Carbon application.
Select "Account" on the home page
Select Cards and banks
Click on the plus sign(+) at the bottom right corner of the page or click “Add a new debit/ATM card
OTP is generated by your bank, contact your bank for any OTP related issues.
With An Approved Loan
You can set up your debit card by tapping on Your loan on your Carbon app then follow the prompts to enable us successfully disburse your approved loan immediately.
Alternatively, you can set up your card via this link; https:https://app.getcarbon.co/#/ using a GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER.
For a successful card setup, It is important to note the following;
- The loan must be in an APPROVED state
You must set up your personal debit/ATM card i.e Third-party cards are not accepted.
Debit card/ATM must be enabled for online transactions before you can set up your card on the Carbon application.
Card must be Mastercard or Visa, if it is Verve card only UBA and Access bank are acceptable.
There must be at least N100 above the bank minimum balance in the account (SAVINGS and CURRENT) linked to that card.
The debit card must be valid for at least 60 days (2 MONTHS) after your proposed due date.

PLEASE NOTE: Carbon will never ask you for your Carbon Pin, Carbon verification code, Debit card & PIN, via WhatsApp or any social media channel.
