How to Block and Freeze Your Carbon Debit Card: Protecting Your Finances

Can I block my card if it is missing or compromised?

Yes, you can. Use the "freeze card" option on the app. 

To freeze your debit card, follow the instructions below:

  1. Select cards at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click on “Physical card”.
  3. Just below the picture of your card, tap on “settings” and then tap "freeze card" toggle.
  4. This will temporarily block all transactions from occurring on the card.
  5. If you are certain that the card has been stolen and cannot be recovered, please use the "cancel card" option in your settings to deactivate your card. You will then be able to request a replacement.
