Unable to update my BVN inapp, BVN registered to another user.

This indicates you may have previously registered on our platform. To maintain a single, secure account:

1. Access Your Existing Account: Kindly tap on forgot pin on the app to reset your PIN using the phone number you previously registered and date of birth in-app if you still have access to the previously registered phone number. 

2. Merge Your Accounts:  We may need to merge your duplicate accounts especially if unable to access your existing account. Please raise a support ticket inapp or send a mail to support@getcarbon.co to provide the following documents and information:

  • Your BVN

  • Your newly registered phone number

  • An image of your NIN slip

  • An image of a recent utility bill (electricity, waste, water, etc.) that is not older than 3 months and shows your house address.

Our support team will review your documents and complete the account merger within 24 working hours.
